Debasis Datta

Debasis Datta is an experienced technology leader with a strong focus on big data infrastructure and enterprise architecture, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Big Data Compute Infrastructure at General Motors. With a career spanning over two decades, Datta has held various leadership roles within General Motors, including managing platform architecture teams and overseeing technology transformations. Prior to General Motors, Datta worked at Oracle Corporation as a Senior Principal Consultant, specializing in solution architecture and ERP integration. Datta’s early career included significant contributions to DaimlerChrysler's ERP systems and PeopleSoft corporate finance systems. Datta holds a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and Michigan Technological University, respectively.
