Lakshmi Thanayankizil

Lakshmi Thanayankizil is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in connectivity and wireless technologies. Since September 2011, Lakshmi has held various roles at General Motors, including Lead Systems Architect for Connectivity and Feature Owner for Connectivity, demonstrating expertise in system architecture and feature development. In addition, Lakshmi serves as Vice-Chair for the DSRC Marketing Task Group at the Wi-Fi Alliance and has previously contributed as a Research Consultant for the Crash Avoidance Metrics Partnership (CAMP), collaborating with the U.S. Department of Transportation to improve traffic safety. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology from the University of Calicut.
