The Genesee Valley Club is a unique city club in a country setting. The premier private club experience in Rochester, it is a special place for our members, their home away from home.

The Club was founded in 1885 by pillars of the Rochester community and has drawn its membership for 140 years from outstanding leaders in business, industry, the professions and government. The Club has served as a facility for sociability, fine dining, and fitness for families who have bonded through friendship and common interest.

The Club offers the best fine and casual dining in Rochester in our elegant Green Porch, historic Red Grill, newly renovated Armstrong Grill and seasonal terraces. Our staff is renowned for providing superb cuisine and world-class service.

A full-time professional sports staff and fully stocked Pro Shop services the Fitness and Sports Facilities, which consist of four outdoor Har-Tru tennis courts, an indoor tennis court which is also serves as two pickleball courts, two Heated Platform Courts, three international squash courts, Rochester's only doubles squash court, an outdoor pool, a Group Exercise Room and a state-of-the-art Fitness Center.

The Valley Club offers both formal and casual social events, children's activities, rooms for children of all ages including a Valley Kids Program and facilities for business use.
