Matt Loeffen is an accomplished finance professional with a robust background in financial accounting and management. Currently serving as Financial Accounting Manager at Genesis since February 2018, Matt has progressed through roles including Senior Financial Accountant and Financial Accountant. Prior to Genesis, Matt held senior managerial positions at IML (Infrastructure Managers Limited) from September 2014 to December 2017, overseeing financial services. Matt's career began at PwC, where a managerial role involved the external audit of diverse companies, ranging from small private firms to large public entities. Matt holds a Bachelor of Management Studies in Accounting from The University of Waikato, completed in 2004.

The segment includes electricity sales to the wholesale electricity market, derivatives entered into to fix the price of electricity, and wholesale gas and coal sales.
