Christopher B. has extensive experience in IT, currently serving as an IT Specialist for Homecare at Genesis Health System since July 2011, where responsibilities include supporting Home Health initiatives and acting as a liaison between IT, vendor software support, and Home Health leadership, along with project management and analysis of clinical and administrative data. Genesis Health System exists to provide compassionate, quality health services to all those in need. It contains 665 inpatient beds across the entire health system, and employs 5500 people. Genesis was formed from the partnership of its two predecessor hospitals, Mercy Hospital (founded in 1869) and St. Luke's Hospital (founded in 1885), both in Davenport. Genesis Health System was formed in June of 1994, and now serves a 10 county area with three urban hospitals and three critical access hospitals in eastern Iowa and western Illinois.
