Genesis Health System
Rogalski began his career in health care at St. Luke's Hospital, a predecessor to Genesis, now known as Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme Street, Davenport. During that time, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at St. Ambrose University. He moved to the Twin Cities, where he directed surgical support services at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis before returning to school. He received his Master's degree in Health Care and Hospital Administration from the University of Iowa and returned to Genesis in 1997 as it's first Administrative Fellow.
Over the past 20 years, he has held a number of leadership positions, including Director of Materials Management, Director of Neurosciences and Imaging Services, and Interim CEO of Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt. He has been an active community volunteer and served on the boards of the Vera French Mental Health Center, St. Paul the Apostle School and Assumption High School Century Club. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is holds leadership roles in the Illinois Hospital Association and the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network.

Genesis Health System exists to provide compassionate, quality health services to all those in need. It contains 665 inpatient beds across the entire health system, and employs 5500 people. Genesis was formed from the partnership of its two predecessor hospitals, Mercy Hospital (founded in 1869) and St. Luke's Hospital (founded in 1885), both in Davenport. Genesis Health System was formed in June of 1994, and now serves a 10 county area with three urban hospitals and three critical access hospitals in eastern Iowa and western Illinois.
