Alexis Beckman

Alexis Beckman is an experienced professional in application engineering and software development, currently serving as an Application Engineer at Northwestern Mutual since November 2021 and as a Dev10 Software Developer Consultant with Genesis10 since July 2021. Alexis participated in the selective Dev10 training program, acquiring skills in Java, MySQL, Docker, Git/GitHub, Spring, React, and AWS, while also focusing on team dynamics and client solutions. A notable capstone project includes the development of a web application called Round Table, designed as a "Tinder for Restaurants." Prior experience includes teaching high school mathematics at Carmen Schools of Science and Technology and Norwich High School, where curriculum development and technology integration were key responsibilities. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Carroll University, completed in 2015.
