Mike Sherman has a diverse work experience that spans over several roles and companies. Mike is currently the Vice President of Operations at genesisONE since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Chicagoland Equipment & Supply from 2018 to 2022, where they served as President and then CFO. During their time there, they implemented strategic planning and operational leadership, leading to a significant increase in revenue. Mike also oversaw various aspects of the company's operations and built a culture of accountability. Before Chicagoland Equipment & Supply, Mike worked as an M&A Integration Executive Consultant at Children's Plus Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Mike also has experience as the COO and CFO at Rainbow Book Company from 2001 to 2017, where they managed daily operations and delivered financial results. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner at Chuhak & Tecson PC from 1996 to 2001 and at Crystal Heytow and Warnick from 1988 to 1995, where they specialized in litigation.
Mike Sherman holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. Mike also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
