Christopher Franklin

Christopher Franklin is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and cloud services. Currently serving as Team Lead and Principal Software Engineer at Genesys since February 2022, Christopher previously held roles as a Principal Software Engineer at Splunk and K4Connect, where leadership of the Cloud Services team and backend microservices development were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes Senior Software Engineer positions at Genesys/Interactive Intelligence, software development at Amazon for the Fire Phone, and client-side application development at DivX, Inc. Christopher's earlier career involved innovative work at Lockheed Martin on augmented reality technologies and programming for Semantic Discovery. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Southern Utah University.
