Jay Patel

Jay Patel is an experienced corporate development professional with a robust background in leading strategic transactions. Since July 2016, Jay has served as the Vice President of Corporate Development at Genesys, where significant accomplishments include the $1.4 billion acquisition of Interactive Intelligence, as well as multiple acquisitions and investments in companies like Altocloud and Be My Eyes. Prior to this role, Jay worked as a Corporate Strategy & Development Associate at MUFG Americas, focusing on corporate development for the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ’s Americas business, which included the divestiture of Klik Technologies. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Deloitte in their Financial Advisory group and an internship at Huron Consulting Group. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
