Magda Fernandez

Magda Fernandez is an experienced medical case manager with a robust background in healthcare management and nursing. Currently serving as a Medical Case Manager at Genex Services since June 2018, Magda has previously held positions as a Case Manager at ChenMed and as an RN Case Manager and Supervisor at VITAS Healthcare. In these roles, Magda has overseen the development and implementation of comprehensive care plans for home health and assisted living patients, emphasizing quality assurance and patient satisfaction. Earlier in the career, Magda worked as an RN on the Medical Surgical & Oncology floor at Memorial Hospital West, providing critical patient care and coordination. Magda holds a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration/Management from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University, alongside foundational education from the University College of Caracas in Venezuela.
