Jong Baik

Jong Baik is an accomplished professional in the field of cryogenic engineering with extensive experience in leadership and research. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Technology Advisory Board at GenH2 since April 2021, Jong Baik also holds the position of CEO at MetaVista USA LLC, which specializes in innovative liquid hydrogen solutions for various applications. Jong Baik previously led MetaVista from January 2017 to December 2019, achieving a record-setting 12 hours and 7 minutes of liquid hydrogen drone flight. Earlier in the career, Jong Baik contributed as a Research Professor at the University of Central Florida and a Principal Research Scientist at the Florida Solar Energy Center, focusing on advanced hydrogen technologies. Jong Baik began the academic journey as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, ultimately earning a Ph.D. in Cryogenic Engineering.
