Tom has served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer since December 2018. He joined Genomatica in March 2010 as Senior Director of Finance, and was promoted to Vice President of Finance in September 2015. He brings over 20 years of public, private and Big 4 experience. Prior to Genomatica, he was Executive Director of Finance and Controller at Somaxon Pharmaceuticals (SOMX), with direct involvement in their IPO and follow-on debt and equity financings. Previously, he was Director of Finance and Controller at Instromedix, a technology-based manufacturing company. He started his career in audit services at Price Waterhouse. Tom has a BA in Business Economics from UCLA, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
