Bob Schruender has a strong background in executive leadership and management roles. Bob started their career in 1989 at Andersen Consulting as a Consulting Manager. In 1996, they joined Genzyme as an IT Director. Bob then moved on to Genzyme Diagnostics in 2001, where they held the positions of Director of Operations and later Vice President and General Manager. In 2011, they joined SEKISUI Diagnostics as Vice President & General Manager. Bob then progressed to Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing, followed by President & COO, and currently serves as President & CEO. Additionally, in 2018, they became a Board Member at Sekisui Medical Co., Ltd. overall, Bob Schruender has extensive experience in the healthcare diagnostics industry.
Bob Schruender earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they attended from 1984 to 1989. Additionally, they completed the Mergers and Acquisitions: Strategy, Execution, and Post-Merger Management program at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
