Brianna Furey

Brianna Furey, MGIS, GISP, is a seasoned GIS professional currently serving as a GIS Innovation Analyst at GeoComm since June 2015, where responsibilities include identifying automation opportunities, developing Python-based GIS tools, and providing training on GIS best practices. Previous roles at GeoComm include GIS Coordinator, GIS Specialist II, GIS Specialist I, and GIS Intern. Brianna is also an Adjunct Instructor at St. Cloud State University, teaching Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) online for the 2024-2025 academic year. Educational qualifications include a Master of GIS from Penn State University, a Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Programming, and a Bachelor's Degree in Geography with GIS emphasis from Gustavus Adolphus College.
