Adrian Pena-Iguaran has a strong background in geotechnical engineering and extensive experience in managing complex projects. Adrian started their career as a Staff Engineer at URS Corporation, where they gained field experience in geotechnical investigations and instrumentation. Adrian then worked as an Engineer at Bechtel Corporation, where they planned and supervised geotechnical site investigations and performed engineering analyses. Adrian moved on to Arup, where they co-led the geotechnical group and implemented a geographic information system to manage geotechnical information. Adrian later joined Geosyntec Consultants as a Senior Engineer, specializing in managing geotechnical projects and supporting their Houston office. Most recently, they have been employed as a Principal Engineer - Geotechnical at Mott MacDonald and is currently serving as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Geocomp - GeoTesting Express.

Adrian Pena-Iguaran holds a Master's Degree in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering, which was obtained from UC Berkeley College of Engineering from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering at ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara from 1991 to 1995. In addition, they are also a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York and a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
