Gary T. Torosian has extensive work experience in the engineering and geosynthetics industry. Gary T. started their career at Geocomp in 1992, where they held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2015, they joined GeoTesting Express, Inc. as the Laboratory Manager and later served as Vice President and Director of Testing Services until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they held the role of Executive Vice President and Director of Testing Services at GeoTesting Express, Inc. In 2020, they became the Chairman of Committee D35 on Geosynthetics at ASTM International.

Gary T. Torosian attended Northbridge High School from 1983 to 1987 and obtained their high school diploma. Following that, from 1987 to 1991, they enrolled in Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
