Simon Baker is an experienced geologist currently serving as the Managing Director at GeoLogica since November 2019. Prior to this role, Simon worked as a self-employed geologist for a brief period in 2019 and as a Geological Advisor at RPS Energy and RPS Training from 2017 to 2019. Simon's extensive background includes significant positions as Lead Geologist and Senior Geologist at Nautilus Ltd, as well as a Postgraduate Research Assistant at University College London. Simon holds a Ph.D. in Geology from University College London and a B.Sc. Hons. in Geology from Chelsea College, University of London. Simon’s expertise spans geological training course development for the oil and gas industry and hands-on geological research in field expeditions across various geologically significant regions.
