Haqdil Hakeem Shad

Haqdil Hakeem Shad is an experienced marine and freshwater researcher with a strong academic background in Biological Oceanography and Marine Sciences. Currently serving as a Student Research Assistant at GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel since October 2018, Haqdil conducts and supports various experiments focused on water quality. Previous roles include a Master's thesis on the quantitative analysis of fucoxanthin and fucosterol from Baltic seaweed, work as a Work Study Student analyzing mesozooplankton for fisheries, and production roles at United Brands Marketing GmbH and Procter & Gamble, emphasizing quality management and process improvements. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree from Kiel University and another from The University of Bonn, alongside extensive coursework in Marine Biology and Aquaculture from Karachi University and Lasbela University of Agriculture.
