Mehrdad Soleimani Monfared

Mehrdad Soleimani Monfared is a scientific assistant at GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel since January 2023, previously serving as a visiting professor at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from October 2020 to January 2023. Prior to these roles, Monfared was a researcher and faculty member at Shahrood University of Technology from July 2009 to October 2020, where responsibilities included supervising undergraduate and graduate theses as well as teaching courses related to Seismology and Petroleum Seismic Exploration. Monfared also contributed as a researcher at KIT in August 2018, focusing on Full Waveform Inversion within the Geophysical Institute.
