David Hunter

David Hunter is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law. Currently serving as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary at Geoquip Marine since July 2022, David previously held the position of Director of the Corporate and Commercial Team at Schofield Sweeney Solicitors. With a solid foundation as General Counsel and Insurance Expert at Modus Subsea Services Limited, David provided crucial commercial support and successfully negotiated high-value contracts with globally leading companies. As a partner and consultant at Endeavour Partnership LLP, David developed expertise in managing complex agreements, resolving disputes, and preparing businesses for investment. David began his legal career as an Associate Solicitor at Dickinson Dees (now Womble Bond Dickinson) and holds degrees in Law from the University of Birmingham, an LLM in European and International Law from the University of Leicester, and completed Law Society Final Examinations at the College of Law Chester.
