Hans Hanse has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of geotechnical engineering, project management, and business development. Hans started their career in 1995 as a Draftsman/Designer at Raytheon Engineers & Constructors. Hans then worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at Fugro Engineers BV from 1996 to 2002. In 2003, they joined Fugro and served as a Project Manager and later as a BusinessLine Manager in Offshore Geotechnics until 2008. Between 2008 and 2009, they took a break from their career to travel and pursue outdoor activities. In 2009, they returned to work at Fugro, initially as a Project Manager at Fugro Alluvial Offshore Ltd and later at Fugro Survey Pty Ltd until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at Geoprofile Gmbh. Hans then joined Geoquip Marine in 2015 and held various roles, including Business Development Manager - Offshore Geotechnics, Chief Operating Officer, and currently, they serve as the Head of Technical & Business Development.
Hans Hanse attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1992 to 1995. Hans earned a degree in civil, but the specific field of study is not provided.
