Julia Tungli

Julia Tungli is an experienced instructional technologist with a strong background in mathematics education. Currently employed at George Mason University since December 2019, Julia has previously served as a mathematics teacher at Barrie School and as both a technology teacher and coordinator at Gesher Jewish Day School. Earlier roles include managing an adult education program at Alexandria City Public Schools, coordinating content for the Illuminations project at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and teaching mathematics at Warren Hills Regional School District. Julia's career began as a paraprofessional at UNION COUNTY EDUCATIONAL SERVICES COMMISSION, working with students with autism spectrum disorders, and includes experience as an actuary at Crum & Forster. Julia holds a Master of Education in Mathematics Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Rutgers University.
