Katie Pate

Katie Pate serves as the Senior Associate Athletics Director at George Mason University, a position held since December 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Appalachian State University as Associate and Assistant Athletics Director for Development, where Katie focused on expanding financial resources for athletics. At Longwood University, Katie was the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Operations, overseeing various strategic initiatives within the athletics department. Previous coaching roles involved positions at Georgia State University, Marshall University, and Lenoir-Rhyne University, among others, contributing to student-athlete development and program enhancement. Katie holds an MBA from Webster University and multiple degrees from Coker University, including a BS in Kinesiology and a BA in Spanish Language and Literature.
