Pamela Shepherd

Pamela Shepherd is an experienced communications professional serving as Communications Director at both the Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Impact and the Office of the Provost at George Mason University since August 2019. Additionally, Pamela has been the Principal of Shepherd Communications since July 2020, focusing on ghostwriting, editing, and executing communication plans. Previous roles include Director of Communications at the National Council of Higher Education Resources, Senior Director of Communications at the Eno Center for Transportation, and Communications Manager at Loyola Marymount University's College of Business Administration. Pamela's career began in public affairs at organizations such as the Airports Council International - North America and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Pamela holds a Master’s degree in Communications from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Brigham Young University.
