Maya E. Morant

Maya E. Morant is an experienced marketing and public relations professional currently serving as the Marketing and Public Relations Director for Economic Development at Georgetown County Economic Development since December 2019. Prior to this role, Maya worked as a Communications Specialist volunteer for the American Red Cross and held various positions, including Transportation Security Officer at the Transportation Security Administration and Administrative Officer at Johnson C. Smith University. Maya also contributed to the American Red Cross as a Communications Specialist and has prior experience in retail and legal administrative support. Maya holds multiple degrees from Savannah State University in Homeland Security and Emergency Management and a Master of Science in Administration of Justice from Mississippi College.
