Sonal Alla is currently a Research Assistant at Georgetown University in the Brain and Language Lab, focusing on the neurocognition of language, memory, and cognition across various populations. In addition, Sonal serves as the Executive Director of Communications for No Lost Generation Georgetown and is actively involved with Hoyas for Human Rights as a Marketing Team Member, GUMSHOE as a Site Coordinator, DC Reads as a Tutor, and National Alzheimer's Buddies as a Volunteer. As the Founder and President of Refugee Support Alliance, Sonal established the organization to provide COVID-19 support and resources to refugees in the Austin area. Sonal's experience also includes clinical shadowing at Mayo Clinic and UT Health Austin in various medical specialties. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Sciences (Pre-medical Studies) at Georgetown University, Sonal previously earned a High School Diploma from St. Stephen's Episcopal School.
