Renee Skinner

Renee Skinner is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Accounting at Georgia Aquarium since February 2015, Renee oversees daily operations, financial statement production, and staff development while maintaining internal controls. Prior to this role, Renee held significant positions such as VP of Accounting & Finance at Precision Aviation Group, Controller/Vice President at World Airways, and Controller at AmeraParts Int'l. With a career spanning over four decades, early experiences include key roles at Atlantic Southeast Airlines and General Mills Restaurant Group, alongside a foundational role as a Staff Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. Renee holds a BBA in Business & Accounting from Roanoke College, obtained in 1978.
