Jonah Riner is an experienced engineering professional with a background in broadcasting and electronics. Currently serving as the Regional Engineering Manager at Georgia Public Broadcasting since August 2015, Jonah oversees a team of six engineers for TV and FM transmitter sites in the Southern region, while also managing travel and leave requests. Previously, as a Field Engineer, Jonah maintained GPB's TV and radio transmitter sites according to company and FCC specifications. Jonah's experience as a self-employed contractor from 1997 to 2015 includes electronic technician tasks, component-level circuit board repairs, and satellite technician roles for corporate events. Additionally, Jonah worked as an Electronics Inspector at Parker Aerospace, ensuring the proper operation of electronics circuitry on missile propulsion systems. Educational qualifications include a BS in Business from Brewton Parker College and an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology from Southeastern Technical College.
