Melvin Burnside

Melvin Burnside started their work experience in 1998 as a Contract Administrator/Analyst at Georgia Transmission Corporation. In 2000, they transitioned to a role at Georgia System Operations Corporation as an Energy Contracts Administrator. In 2002, Melvin was promoted to Manager, Contracts and Business Analysis at Georgia System Operations Corporation where they managed the contracts and business analysis department. In 2017, they were further promoted to Director, Contracts and Business Analysis, where they continued to oversee the department and staff, as well as manage additional projects and initiatives that benefited the company.

Melvin Burnside completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Melvin then pursued further education and obtained a Fast Track MBA degree in Senior Level Professional Business Skills from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, studying from 2009 to 2012.
