Darren Kyi

Darren Kyi is a Senior Project Geophysicist at Ideon Technologies, focusing on Australia and the Asia Pacific since November 2023. Previously, Kyi held various roles at Geoscience Australia from September 2017 to November 2023, including Technical and Logistics Manager, where responsibilities included managing large-scale field data acquisition projects and providing expert geophysical and operational services. Kyi also served as a Geophysicist, specializing in magnetotellurics data acquisition, processing, and survey logistics. Prior experience includes positions at Quantec Geoscience Ltd. and GBG Australia, where Kyi was involved in field data acquisition and non-destructive testing for engineering and environmental projects. Kyi earned a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from Macquarie University between 2004 and 2009.
