Christopher Straub has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Christopher began their career at the World Presidents' Organization in 1997 as an Assistant Controller. From there, they moved to YellowBrix, Inc. in 1998 as a Controller, where they stayed until 2001. In 2002, they joined CQ Press as the Director of Finance, a role they held until 2010. Christopher then transitioned to SAGE Publications, where they served as the Director of Finance for CQ Press from 2008 to 2010, and later as the Corporate Controller from 2010 to 2012. Since 2012, Christopher has been with GeoScienceWorld, initially serving as the COO/Deputy Executive Director until 2020. Christopher briefly held the position of Interim CEO in 2020 before continuing in their role as Chief Operating Officer.
Christopher Straub attended Dickinson College from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. In 2002, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Virginia Board of Accountancy.
