Shashank Saurav

Shashank Saurav is a Senior Data Scientist and Computer Vision Researcher at GEOTAB since February 2021, where significant contributions include the development of advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) to enhance road safety. Shashank has a strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision, utilizing tools and platforms such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Google Cloud Platform, and edge AI technologies. Prior experiences include roles as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, Research Assistant at the Centre for Maintenance Optimization and Reliability Engineering, and positions in maintenance engineering and training at AKA Logistics Limited and Reliance Industries Limited. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Data Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
