David Macaulay has a solid work experience in the oil and gas industry. David started their career at CGG (then VeritasDGC) as a Geophysicist, where they processed seismic data using Tango processing software. David gained expertise in various techniques such as refraction statics, velocity analysis, and pre-stack time migration. David worked at CGG from September 2002 to January 2005.

Following that, David joined Halliburton (Landmark) as a Support Analyst/Team Lead. David led a team of four analysts and provided support for ProMAX/SeisSpace Family and GeoProbe systems in the EAME region. David worked at Halliburton from July 2005 to November 2010.

In 2010, David joined Paradigm as an Application Support Team Lead. David supported clients in the UK and Scandinavia and also served as an Account Manager. David worked at Paradigm until February 2017.

Currently, David is employed at Geoteric as a Business Development Manager. David started in March 2017 and later transitioned to the role of a Sales Account Manager in January 2021.

David Macaulay earned a BSc degree in Geophysics with Business Management from the University of Liverpool, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Consultative Selling - with Merit from PDN in 2013, SCP Support Supervisor from Service Strategies in 2010, and SCP Support Professional from Service Strategies in 2006.
