Yelena Polonskaya has been with Geron since May 2001, starting as a Senior Research Associate I and eventually progressing to Senior Research Associate II. Prior to their time at Geron, Yelena worked at the Parkinson's Institute as a Research Associate, focusing on investigating various models of Parkinson's disease and developing methods for in situ hybridization. Throughout their career, Yelena has specialized in histological analysis of tissue sections after cell transplantation into animal models and maintained tissue bank records.
