Nicolas Westphal

Nicolas Westphal currently serves as Managing Director for Private Equity/Growth Equity at Haymaker Growth, where responsibilities include investments in high-growth technology companies with equity checks between $20 million and $200 million. Westphal also holds the position of Investing Advisor at Decisive Leap, focusing on exceptional facility management businesses, and acts as an investor for multiple firms including BlueVoyant, FLYR Labs, AlphaSense, Dataminr, and Clair, providing advisory support to their senior management and boards. Previously, Westphal was a Special Advisor for REEF, and served as an Investor and Board Member at AvidXchange, Inc. and Lightspeed Commerce, contributing to their successful IPO exits. Westphal earned a Master of Science in Technology and Public Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mathematics from École Polytechnique.
