Nirmal Shah

Nirmal Shah is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the financial sector. Currently serving as Director Finance & Global Data Co-ordinator at Getinge since April 2021, Nirmal has also taken on the responsibilities of Director Finance and Head of Logistics (Interim). Prior to Getinge, Nirmal held the position of Divisional Finance Controller at Thermo Fisher Scientific from June 2015 to April 2021, contributing significantly to the Finance Leadership team. Earlier roles include Business Finance Controller at Solvay Chemicals, Assistant Controller in Financial Planning & Analysis at Abbott India Ltd., Finance Manager at National Investment Funds Co in Oman, and Manager Finance & Accounts at Sanofi-Aventis. Nirmal's educational background includes Chartered Accountant qualifications from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Diploma in Financial Management from Welingkar Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from S.I.E.S. College of Commerce & Economics.
