Arkar Aung

Arkar Aung is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Backend Technical Lead at GEVME since July 2019, Arkar is responsible for designing robust APIs and optimizing their performance to meet product features and project requirements. Previous roles include Backend Engineer at GEVME, where Arkar developed a Digital Event Platform and various APIs for event management and reporting. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior Software Engineer at Global Connect Asia Inc, Core Developer at Pwarr, Web Developer at Myanmar Babls, and Web Developer at Bagan Innovation Technology. Arkar holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Computer Studies, Yangon, completed in 2010.
