Tess Augustyn

Tess Augustyn has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Swim Instructor for the City of Olathe, teaching water safety and swim strokes to people of all ages. In 2015, they became an Entrepreneur and started their own small cupcake business specializing in gourmet cupcakes with fillings. Tess continued running their business until 2016. From 2017 to 2019, Tess worked as a Marketing and Advertising Intern at Cutting Equipment Inc., where they focused on creating brand awareness through website redesign, managing website traffic and updates, and designing brochures for products. In 2018, they joined McClure Engineering Company as a Marketing Coordinator, where they participated in go/no-go discussions, reviewed RFQ/RFP requisites, and contributed to proposal development and maintenance. Currently, Tess is a Regional Business Development Proposal Coordinator at TranSystems, a position they have held since 2019. Their responsibilities include initiating go/no-go discussions, reviewing RFQ/RFP requisites, developing proposal outlines and schedules, and producing marketing support materials.

Tess Augustyn started their education in 2013 at Johnson County Community College, where they pursued an Associate's Degree in Design and Applied Arts. Tess completed this program in 2016. Following their time at JCCC, they furthered their education at Lindenwood University, from 2016 to 2018, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Public Relations, and Corporate Communications.
