Carles Debart

Carles Debart is an accomplished business development professional with extensive experience in Earth Observation and geospatial information services. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development for Europe at GHGSAT since March 2023, Carles focuses on assisting European governments in measuring and mitigating GHG emissions through innovative satellite technology. Prior roles include Business Development Manager at GeoVille Information Systems, where Carles commercialized Earth Observation services, and International Sales Manager at Kongsberg Satellite Services, promoting EO services for various sectors across emerging markets. Carles also has a solid foundation in project management and technical sales, having worked at TRE ALTAMIRA and Vodafone. Carles holds a PgDip in Global Innovation Management from the University of Strathclyde and Master's degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from both Beijing Institute of Technology and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
