Jordan deBoer is an experienced professional in airborne operations and environmental management, currently serving as an Airborne Operations Specialist at GHGSAT since September 2021. Prior to this role, Jordan was a Research Technician at MAG Aerospace Canada, where responsibilities included the collection, processing, and analysis of Hyperspectral and Thermal imagery, with a focus on aiding post-fire cleanup efforts. Earlier experience includes work as a GIS Analyst at McMaster University, where Jordan utilized ArcGIS and ENVI to support ecological studies, particularly mapping the invasive species Phragmites australis in Southwestern Ontario. Jordan holds a Master’s degree in Geomatics for Environmental Management from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Environmental Sciences with a minor in GIS from McMaster University.
