Łukasz Piątkowski

Łukasz Piątkowski is a Kubernetes Platform Architect at Giant Swarm. Łukasz was previously Chief Kubernetes Architect at Aurea Software from October 2016 to June 2019. Łukasz was responsible for design, implementation, problem-solving and high-level management of internal Container-as-a-Service Docker & Kubernetes platform running multiple products and 1800+ containers of different release stage. This included design and DevOps implementation of a multi-tenant Kubernetes cluster, extending Kubernetes with custom controllers, authoring of configuration management procedures, workflows and playbooks, and custom in-house networking service for our special networking needs. Łukasz was also responsible for design and execution of management procedures and configuration standards, networking design and configuration related to container's, and performance and general problems analysis, recovery and prevention plans.

Łukasz Piątkowski has a PhD in Information Technology from Poznan University of Technology, and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same school. Łukasz also has various certifications from Amazon Web Services, Coursera, and edX in topics such as cloud networking, big data, statistics, software security, and more.
