The information, which is continuously updated and carefully corrected by hand, is standardised by GIATA so that fewer errors occur in the internal booking process and hotel allocation. Accommodation can be clearly identified and duplicates detected. The use of the GIATA code in communication between licensees ensures that the hotel portfolios remain synchronised. By incorporating the GIATA ID and outsourcing time-consuming manual research and maintenance, simple mistakes are detected, thereby cutting costs.
