Pieter Pretorius

Pieter Pretorius is an experienced academic and consultant in operations management and engineering, currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at the Gordon Institute of Business Science and Part-time Faculty at the University of Pretoria since June 2007. With a PhD in Engineering and an MBA, Pieter has lectured extensively on various programs, including the MBA at both the Gordon Institute and the Rotterdam School of Management, while also supervising research and contributing to curriculum development. As the Director of Behavioural Engineering CC, Pieter provides continuous education and consulting services to numerous organizations, including Fortuna Foods and York Timbers, focusing on capacity planning, operational improvements, and strategic advisory roles. Previous roles include Senior Lecturer at both the University of Pretoria and Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, along with significant industry experience in logistics and systems engineering.
