Ed Batts

Ed Batts is a seasoned attorney with extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and cyber-security. Currently serving as a Partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP since January 2020, Ed previously held the position of Global Chair of M&A and Private Equity at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from January 2016 to January 2020. Ed's extensive experience at DLA Piper, where Ed was a Partner from August 1999 to January 2016, includes counseling clients on complex public and private transactions. Ed holds a J.D. from Stanford University and a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA.
