Gregg Costa

Gregg Costa currently serves as a Partner and Co-Chair of the Global Trial Practice Group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP since October 2022. Prior to this role, Gregg Costa held significant judicial positions, including serving as a United States Circuit Judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit from June 2014 to August 2022 and as a United States District Judge for the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas from May 2012 to June 2014. Gregg Costa began a legal career as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Texas from February 2005 to May 2012. Educationally, Gregg Costa earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government and Economics from Dartmouth College.
