GIC Re Syndicate 1947 was launched in 2018, we currently underwrite many different lines of business such as: - Property Treaty Reinsurance - Casualty Reinsurance - Property Insurance (including facultative) - Casualty Insurance - Marine Specialty Reinsurance ​We operate as a single team, ensuring a holistic approach to client relationships across all lines of business, we also look to introduce new (re)insurance products into the Indian market. We believe in building strong mutually-beneficial client relationships, focusing on a limited number of carefully selected partners. We pride ourselves on applying highly-developed analytics, listening to client needs and responding appropriately. The Syndicate is managed by Hamilton Managing Agency Limited, with GIC Re (via its Lloyd’s Corporate member) providing 100% of the capital to support the business underwritten at GIC Re Syndicate 1947.
