Barbara S. is an experienced advocate in gun violence prevention, currently serving as a State Ambassador for GIFFORDS since August 2021, and involved with Gifford's Gun Owners for Safety. Additionally, Barbara operated as a self-employed State Ambassador from January 2000 to January 2008. Educational achievements include an Associate's degree in Art/Art Studies from the University of Maryland and some college experience in Creative Writing from Currituck High School.
