Simone Petrella

Simone Petrella is an accomplished professional in the insurance sector with extensive experience in underwriting and employee benefits. Currently serving as the Regional Head of Underwriting Employee Benefits for GIG Gulf, Simone oversees markets in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman since May 2022. Previous roles include Head of Underwriting & Sales at AXA Italia and various positions at AXA, where responsibilities spanned international project management and senior underwriting. Simone began a career in underwriting at Allianz, focusing on both employee benefits and property segments.
