Jorge Guerrero

Jorge Guerrero has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Most recently, starting in 2022, they worked as a Sr. Staff Professional Services Engineer at Gigamon. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2022, they served as a Security Specialist at MCS Networks, where they had responsibilities such as fixing internet access problems and managing the Infoblox DDI Solution for the BBVA Mexico project.

From 2013 to 2018, Jorge worked at Blue Coat Systems as an SE Mexico and was involved in training other engineers and partners in Mexico and Latin America. Jorge specialized in web filtering, malware analysis, data loss prevention, and other cybersecurity measures.

In 2012, they worked as an Independent Consultant, focused on providing technical solutions and cost reduction incentives to mid to small enterprises in Mexico.

From 2011 to 2012, they were an Engineering Coordinator at Sp@cnet, where they handled technical proposals and installations for customers.

In 2006, Jorge worked as an On-Site Consultant at IKUSI, where they facilitated interaction between technical staff and salespeople and conducted audits and reengineering for Grupo Modelo's networks.

Jorge Guerrero pursued their undergraduate studies from 1988 to 1992 at Tecnológico de Monterrey. During this time, they completed a degree in Ingeniero en Electrónica, with a specialization in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Additionally, they also obtained another degree, Ingeniero en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, from the same institution. The field of study for this second degree is not specified.
